Entry- The Prize for Illustration 2017 Sounds of the City

I have just submitted my entry for The Prize for Illustration 2017 competition presented by The Association of Illustrators (AOI) and London Transport Museum. The theme this year is "Sounds of the City"

A swarm of motor scooters roaring through a railway arch, a tube train rumbling overhead and pigeons flapping for their lives, says "London" to me.

The drawing is an A2 watercolour and ink on Saunders 300gsm hot pressed paper. Finishing touches were digital using Affinity Photo
