Urban Gateways

A recent commission for a local government urban design (town planning) department these two drawings show two gateways to the municipality. The enhancements included landscape design, public artwork, signage and restoration works. The drawings show how the planting might mature in 20 years time.

The purple trees are intended to be Willow Myrtle "After Dark". If anyone has a photo of a mature example I'd love to see it.
