My submission to Neil Gaiman's #keepmoving #aCalendarofTales project for #SepTales was a faux botanical illustration of a "Lion Ring Tree". How could the ring make it's way to her in Brazil? Well, lion rings do grow on trees in Brazil!
The reason for this post is actually to recommend a great site for digital textures http://valleysinthevinyl.com/ where I found the ornate old page background used here. Also lostandtaken.com and insurrectionx on Deviant Art. Each have good high-resolution textures, Photoshop patterns and brushes and wallpapers.
