This drawing started the series that became the Anguish series of sketches. Others in the series have included the drawings done for the BSG Small works exhibition, Poster for Tomorrow entry (campaign to end the death penalty) and the Darebin art show entry Embrace. I have been drawing strong emotions (loss, anxiety, dislocation, love, antipathy, grief). While they are personal they are not directly autobiographical!

The Anguish series
